Check out these basement warning signs:


• Damp Spots on Walls: Water has absorbed through walls

Keep your basement dry by:
1)
Maintain an operational dehumidifier
connected to a sump pit if possible.
2) Circulate air in basement with small fan.
3) Maintain an operational sump pump.
4) Insure the grade around your home is sloped away from the foundation. Fill all settlement around your home annually.
5) Direct outdoor sprinkler heads away from the foundation.
6) Regularly clean and inspect gutters.
7) Maintain drainage for downspouts.
8) Have cracks professionally repaired.
